Reg BI (Regulation Best Interest) Tracker
Wealth management and capital markets compliance
Use Moraph's broker-dealer and wealth compliance products to evidence Reg BI recommendations, supervise personal trading, reconstruct trades, run fund shareholder meetings, take private fund subscriptions, manage secondary transfers and review estate illustrations.
About this course
This course is for the people who run compliance, supervision and operations on Moraph's wealth management and capital markets products, and for the administrators who configure them. It covers seven products: the Reg BI (Regulation Best Interest) Tracker, the Trade Surveillance & Market Abuse Monitor, the Trade Reconstruction Repository, Proxy Voting & Shareholder Services, the Alt-Invest Compliance & Checkout Portal, the Private Market Secondary Liquidity Engine and Wealth Transfer & Estate Visualization. Each lesson pairs the everyday steps with the reasons behind them, and uses fictional firms and records throughout.
One idea runs through every module: these products record and evidence decisions, but they don't make them. Your representatives, supervisors, compliance officers, counsel and advisers keep the judgment; the products make sure it's captured, separated by role and ready for an examiner. The regulations named here are listed for orientation only. Your compliance and legal teams decide how they apply to your firm.
What you’ll be able to do
- Record, supervise and test retail recommendations in the Reg BI Tracker so each one carries its profile check, alternatives, costs and rationale
- Run pre-clearance, account declarations, reporting obligations and exception review under a Code of Ethics in the Trade Surveillance & Market Abuse Monitor
- Build, review and release a trade reconstruction with confirmed links, visible time sources and documented gaps
- Follow a fund shareholder meeting from record date to the inspector of election's certification in Proxy Voting & Shareholder Services
- Explain how the Alt-Invest Compliance & Checkout Portal and the Private Market Secondary Liquidity Engine separate evidence collection, decisions and settlement
- Prepare estate planning scenarios with visible assumptions and take them through compliance review before release
- Recognize where each product stops and your firm's own judgment, counsel or vendors take over
